Host an Event

Help fight hunger year-round by sponsoring a hunger fight. Join us at our packaging center in West Des Moines or we’ll come to you!

Private Packaging Center Hunger Fight: This option is perfect for groups ranging in size from 15 – 130. Just bring your group and a willingness to have fun while packaging meals to feed the hungry. There is a 5,000 meal minimum required to schedule a private event. Our meals cost $.20 for our Hearty Pack (Soy and Rice) or $.25 for our Mac and Cheese meals. Mobile Hunger Fight: Let us bring the packaging event to you! One of our Hunger Fight Managers will work with you to arrange a packaging event that meets your needs. We provide the food ingredients and all the packaging materials. You provide the awesome volunteers and the necessary funding. There is a 20,000 meal minimum*, and meal costs are the same as referenced above. Youth AssistanceWe do offer funding assistance for youth events, e.g. school packaging event. Contact us to learn more about this option.

*The minimum number of meals to be packaged increases the further the mobile event is from Des Moines.
