Annual Hunger Fight Sponsor

With the help of 3,300 community volunteers and many generous sponsors, Meals from the Heartland was able to package nearly 3.6 MILLION meals during the 2023 Annual Hunger Fight, held August 30-September 2. This annual event has been held downtown
Des Moines at Hy-Vee Hall since 2008.

Morsel Combat Sponsor

The Hy-Vee One Step Challenge and Morsel Combat was held on August 29 to kickoff the 16th Annual Hunger Fight. 30 teams competed in the fun and enjoy delicious small plates prepared by 8 local chefs and desserts from 4 bakers. We look forward to hosting this fun event again in 2024!
