“I just want you to know how much we enjoyed our time with your organization.  We are from all over the United States and it is nice to know that this type of work is going on across the country.  I, myself am from Idaho Falls, Idaho, and I am involved with our Soup Kitchen and our Community Food Basket to help the people of our community.  As a fellow volunteer, I just want to say thank you for all you do.”

“I wanted to thank all of the staff and pack masters for the wonderful experience I was given! I began volunteering at the end of February and since the first day I was treated so kindly. It was my first time going back since high school and everyone made sure to be so motivational and let us know that we are helping make a difference. It helped me realize that the small things we do will help change someone’s life forever. This experience has made me grateful for everything that I have and for having the opportunity to work with you all. Not only am I grateful for being able to contribute to a great cause of helping young children but I am also grateful for the people that have helped support the cause. Thank you for having me.”

“I’m a freshman at Grand View University. I would like to thank you for giving me the opportunity at this organization to help children in need of food. This has been one of my favorite places to give my time and help volunteer for those in need. I loved the announcements of how many boxes we completed and how many children are fed for an entire year, I really felt fulfilled after every session I did.”

“Awesome experience! One of the few charities I love to spend time at because you can see the direct impact you are having. You can donate money that goes directly to buying food that volunteers pack. Very well organized, very clean, and a great team building experience!”

“From small children, youth groups, college students, small groups to adults, this is a way we can all gather together to serve others,” says Dan Pattengill, Ministry Development Pastor. Crosspoint also partners with Convoy of Hope, who distributes our meals across the country and around the world. “Seeing boxes of Meals from the Heartland food being distributed is very gratifying.” “This year due to COVID-19, sadly we won’t be able to bring all groups together like in previous years. We look forward to 2021 when we can gather again as a group to accomplish our annual goal of packaging 40,000 meals.”
