Without our volunteers, Iowa would not be the hunger fighting capital of the world. Through our packaging events, individuals, businesses, schools, churches, youth organizations and others come together to package meals for the hungry in Iowa and around the world.

Our Annual Hunger Fight is Meals from the Heartland’s signature event. Each year, thousands of volunteers of all ages fill Hy-Vee Hall in Des Moines with one goal – to fight hunger together. Find out more information here.
