Our Meals

Meals from the Heartland produces two special meal formulas developed by food science and nutrition professionals to supplement nutritional needs to allow children to grow, thrive and become productive members of their community.

Despite the simplicity of our meal’s content, it is a nutritionally fortified and well-balanced meal intended to fit culturally diverse pallets.

Local and Global Partnerships
Our meals are also used for disaster relief, providing nutrition and hope in the midst of epidemics and natural disasters that impact entire communities. Because our meals require boiling water, they may not be part of the immediate first response. But they play a critical role in the days and weeks that follow, helping communities stay nourished as they recover and rebuild.
Crisis Relief

Meals from the Heartland partners with organizations embedded in communities that face hunger on a daily basis. Meals are shipped out nationally and around the world by our distribution partners, Convoy of Hope and Blessman International to on-the-ground organizations such as Many Hands for Haiti and the Salvation Army, who are continually assessing and identifying needs of communities. Our meals often support and supplement other programs such as teaching sustainable agriculture practices, education, healthcare and more.
