Event Dates
Two-hour packaging shifts are available Wednesday-Saturday.
Event Location
Event takes place at Hy-Vee Hall. Enter through the Community Choice Credit Union doors at 833 5th Ave. Please do NOT enter off of 3rd Street.
When to Arrive
Please arrive 15 minutes early for your shift unless you’ve been instructed otherwise.
What to Bring
Due to safe food packaging procedures, please remove all jewelry and accessories before packaging. Please bring your wallet in case you’d like to purchase a t-shirt or make a donation at the time of the event. Please view our Service Animal Policy should that be relevant for you.
Where to Park
*PARKING IS FREE FOR VOLUNTEERS. Tell parking attendants you are a Meals from the Heartland volunteer for free entry.* Park in the far North lot (closest to I-235) and enter through the Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center Doors. Go down the escalators and check in. See map: Hy-Vee Hall Parking.
