We want to share an amazing fundraising project by high school students at Third Church in Pella. Each student painted one canvas square when they raised $200 for Meals from the Heartland. This project produced an amazing impact and stunning results!
Fundraising can be fun (and beautiful!) when done right. If you’re raising money to host your own mobile or private event, or simply want to make a donation to Meals from the Heartland, we encourage you to get creative. Raising money doesn’t have to be awkward or difficult. If you make the process enjoyable and accessible for your fundraisers and for your donors, fundraising can actually be exciting and rewarding.
At Third Church, not only do donators feel good about their contributions (knowing they’ve funded thousands of meals,) but they’re reminded of their impact on the world every time they see this powerful mural hanging in their church.
If you’re interested in hosting a mobile event at your location or holding a fundraiser for Meals from the Heartland, contact us! We’d love to help you with ideas, logistics and any other questions you may have.
If you simply want to donate to our mission and feed someone, please donate at this link on May 3: https://givelocaldsm.org/npo/meals-from-the-heartland. All donations will be matched, producing double the impact.
“Go into the world and do well. But more importantly, go into the world and do good.”
