Through the years, the meals from the Heartland Board of Directors and event coordinators have relied on key community partnerships to help us both fund and staff our hunger-fighting events. More than 30,000 people volunteered with Meals from the Heartland in 2012

DISTRIBUTION PARTNERS

through several essential partnerships with groups such as Convoy of Hope, based out of Missouri, Blessman Ministries in South Africa, the Des Moines Area Religious Council (DMARC) and Food Bank of Iowa, we are able to provide on-going support to children and families locally and worldwide to promote sustainable health. These relationships allow our volunteers to continue doing what they do best – packaging meals – while relying on our experienced partners to do what they do best – deliver life-sustaining meals to the hungry.
